Vacuum Brazed Diamond Hole Saws
performance level - premium

These special diamond hole saws benefit from fully exposed diamonds that are vacuum brazed directly to the cutting edge. Vacuum brazing is a material joining process which offers significant advantages in terms of cleanliness, joint strength and integrity making the hole saws durable and convenient to use when drilling a vast variety of materials. They are especially good for drilling porcelain.

Features: Fully exposed diamonds joined by a vacuum brazing process, 10mm hexagonal fitting and pilot drill (supplied) to aid start up.

Machine Suitability

  • Cordless Drill
  • Corded Drill

Usage Advice:

  • Use the pilot drill to aid start up.
  • Before drilling porcelain, pre-drill a 6mm pilot hole using a diamond tile drill.
  • For best results when drilling tiles, apply a fine mist of water via a hand-held spray bottle.
  • Do not use unnecessary pressure, the weight of the machine is sufficient.
  • Using a slight oscillating motion whilst drilling can increase speed on some materials.
  • Use at speeds between 800 - 2000rpm.
  • For harder tiles use a slower rpm / for softer tiles use a faster rpm.

Standards

  • EN13236: European Standard that regulates the safety requirements for super abrasive (diamond) products
