ST-TGD Tile And Glass Drill BIt

The advanced tip geometry of the SiteTuff ST-TGD Tile and Glass drill bit penetrates the material instantly, giving pinpoint accuracy when most needed. Used on rotary only and at slow speeds, allows the bit drills sensitive products such as glass and delicate glazed tiles cleanly and smoothly.

The ST-TGD can also be used to drill materials such as facing bricks, concrete blocks, wood and plastic with ease. With a little added water as a coolant, the bit will even drill problematic materials such as porcelain and marble.

Usage Advice:

  • Always wear the appropriate PPE
  • The ST-TGD’s are designed to be used at slow speeds, always ensure that your drill is on the slowest speed setting before use
  • DO NOT use on percussion or hammer action.
  • When drilling Glass, Porcelain or other hard materials, a good flow of water coolant is required. This can be applied by means of a spray bottle or sponge
  • It is strongly recommended that you use a new bit when drilling glass. Any damage to the tip of bit may cause the glass to splinter or crack
  • DO NOT apply excess pressure as this may damage the material when drilling and will, slow the feed rate down
