Usage Advice:

• Always wear the appropriate PPE
• Ensure you select the correct blade for your task
• Disconnect the power/ remove the battery prior to fitting or removing a blade
• If you have a variable speed Jigsaw, select faster speeds for soft materials, and slower speeds for harder materials such as Steel.
• If your Jigsaw has an oscillating option, this will increase the speed of cut, but reduce the finish quality.
• Always ensure that the foot plate is flat to the surface before cutting
• When starting a cut, make gentle contact with the material, forcing the cut will cause the blade to jump and damage the teeth
• Once you have completed your cut, wait for the blade to stop, before removing from the material
• Blades that cut on the up stroke will leave a feathered edge to the surface of the material, but are smoother and easier to use. Select a reverse cut/ down cut blade to ensure a clean finish to the cutting surface
