MULTI MATERIAL JIGSAW BLADE (T-SHANK)

This Multi-purpose, long life, Bi-metal ST-JSB T345XF jigsaw blade will cut a variety of materials from wood to steel. Including construction timber, nail embedded wood and plastics up to 65mm in depth, and metal pipes and profiles, metal sheeting, including aluminium from 3mm to 10mm thick.

Usage Advice:

Always wear the appropriate PPE
Ensure you select the correct blade for your task
Disconnect the power/ remove the battery prior to fitting or removing a blade
If you have a variable speed Jigsaw, select faster speeds for soft materials, and slower speeds for harder materials such as Steel.
If your Jigsaw has an oscillating option, this will increase the speed of cut, but reduce the finish quality.
Always ensure that the foot plate is flat to the surface before cuttin
When starting a cut, make gentle contact with the material, forcing the cut will cause the blade to jump and damage the teeth
Once you have completed your cut, wait for the blade to stop, before removing from the material
Blades that cut on the up stroke will leave a feathered edge to the surface of the material, but are smoother and easier to use. Select a reverse cut/ down cut blade to ensure a clean finish to the cutting surface
